Dear YouTube, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram Friends.

It is with joy in my heart and the Spirit of Healing for us all, that I release this video for viewing. My dear friend, David Grant, brought this idea to record Argents "Hold Your Head Up" and let the great guitarist, Randy Wilcox, do the music. David Grant had the vision and I knew that it was soooooooo right. We were in quarantine as we still are this moment. And as I write this description, car horns are blowing and people are shouting because finally the Trump-mare is over! Thank you, Universe, for giving us the courage to Hold Our Heads Up!

Stay tune ...

When Audra was twelve, she stumbled on an NAACP demonstration and sit-in and joined the Civil Rights movement. When she turned thirteen, she joined the local NAACP youth group and lead the singing at demonstrations and marches. On two occasions, she, along with other Peoria civil rights activists, went to jail for sit-ins. In 1963, Audra was on the March on Washington, and heard Dr. King deliver his “I Have a Dream” speech. It made an impression on my mind forever.

David Lahm/ Writer & Composer

Ms. Blu and David Lahm Recordings

David Lahm introduced me to

American lyricist , Edgar Yipseo "Yip"Harburg who wrote the lyrics  to "FREEDOM IS THE WORD."

Harburg also wrote the standards "Brother Can You Spare a Dime?" "April in Paris" and It's Only a Paper Moon,"as well as all the songs for the film The Wizard of Oz, including"Over the Rainbow." He was known for the social commentary of his lyrics, and championed racial and gender equality.

I would have never gravitated to this music without Lahm's encouragement. He saw in me what I couldn't. I'm forever grateful that I did!
